Council to Vote on New City Manager at April 14 Meeting

The Cave Spring City Council is expected to vote to extend an offer of employment to a new city manager during the Tuesday, April 14, council meeting. The search for a new city manager has been underway since late last year.

Council is also expected to vote on several other items during the April 14 meeting including:

  • A request to rename Stewart Circle.
  • A $7,305 software requisition related to water meters.
  • A $7,050 requisition for new water meters and the associated items.
  • A key policy to govern the issuance and management of keys.
  • A resolution related to the Certified City of Ethics program.
  • A proclamation recognizing Georgia Cities Week.
  • A proclamation recognizing Arbor Day 2026.
  • A resolution to establish a schedule of fees and fines.

Additionally, the first reading of the event ordinance is scheduled for Tuesday night.

Council will also meet in executive session to discuss legal matters.
